This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from real Ceylon Satinwood and cocobolo. The cocobolo will become richer as it oxidizes. 

This is real satinwood,  Chloroxylon swieteni, not the imitation satinwood that is used in 99% of knife handles. 

Suited for a 240 mm  gyuto or other Japanese knife.

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster 

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
