This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from a dyed and stabilized maple burl with a Honduran rosewood ferrule 

Suited for a 240 mm  gyuto or other Japanese knife.

Weight 46 g Length 141 mm   (5 1/2”)

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster 

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
