A built-in voltage converter within the dummy battery adapts the standard 14.4V from external batteries down to the 9V required by the camera, ensuring safe and consistent operation on set.
Reverse polarity protection safeguards both the camera and cable, if the D-Tap connection is accidentally reversed. This solution extends runtime for long shoots, eliminating the need for frequent battery swaps. The cable length is 55 inches.
